Value Stream Mapping
This advanced technique adds the time element to the Process Map above and allows the participants to begin to illustrate the current state of the business and the areas where process improvement can be made in the future.
THe RMP Brainstorming Technique
The seminar teaches how to brainstorm effectively in a way that encourages the participants to overcome their shyness and fear of speaking up. It helps to create the environment where all participants can share ideas that could lead to the solution of the problems that were brought to the surface.
This technique uses the 5Ws (What, Why, Where and When) plus the 1H (How) technique to properly identify the problems that are being faced.
Cause & Effect Diagram
The Ishikawa or cause and effect diagram is used to identify the root causes of problems encountered in the business.
The 5Why technique is a simpler method to quickly isolate the root cause of the problem encountered.
Pareto analysis will teach the participant a way to gauge which problems are the priority to solve.
Plus Minus Problem Solving Technique
This technique teaches the participants how to compare the different solutions presented and select the most appropriate solution.
Bring a Laptop
Many of the Lessons to be presented require calculations using MS Excel. It is recommended that you bring your LAPTOP COMPUTER to be able to follow the analysis being demonstrated. A Maximum of 2 participants per laptop may share for optimum learning. Your computer should have MS Excel or equivalent software installed.
