The financial statements serve as the basic source of information for analysis and interpretation which will aid in decision making by business managers, creditors, Investors as well as other groups who are interested in the financial status and operating results of the business.

Upon completion of the creation of the financial statements of the business entity, the normal job of the company’s accountant or auditor ends. He has now created a set of documents that describes the company’s health according to accepted accounting principles. The financial statements contain information about business’s strengths and its weaknesses.
