I have found that even though many companies have already outsourced their accounting needs to third party suppliers, these companies still find that it very useful if their own staff have better grip on the accounting process and understand how a financial statement is constructed. While the preparation and submission of financial documents may have become the job of the supplier, the gathering and organization of the supporting documents is still very much the job of the company’s own administrative personnel. Often, this is where there is a knowledge gap that this seminar aims to fill.
An unintended consequence of outsourcing the accounting function is that the personnel left in the office may not have a clear understanding of the documents required by the accountants. This lack of knowledge often results in miscommunications, misunderstandings, mistakes, delays, payment of fines and many other avoidable frustrations.
In other companies, we have also come across managers and owners who simply want to understand better how the data gathered is organized and computed to become the company’s financial statements. They know that understanding the accounting process will give them a better insight into the company’s financial well-being.

This seminar is specially designed to fill in the knowledge gap between trained accounting personnel and the regular administrative and clerical staff. We have found that administrative personnel can do their jobs much better, with a lot less ambiguity and uncertainty, if they have a clear understanding of how the ledgers are constructed to the point of being able to create a financial statement. This seminar will teach you staff the basic bookkeeping and accounting skills they need to help them do their jobs better, quicker and more accurately.
